CDM Health & Safety Services

Smyth and Associates can assist our clients with meeting the requirements of the Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM Regulations). We will ensure that the client meets their statutory health and safety obligations under the CDM Regulations. We will advise the client and the development team throughout the design process to ensure that the completed scheme considers all aspects of health and safety.

We also advise the client on the selection of contractors and fellow professionals and prepare a pre-construction health and safety plan.

When a contractor is appointed, we advise the client on the adequacy of the contractor's Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan. Upon completion of the development, our specialist will monitor the transfer of the Health and Safety File to the Client in accordance with the Regulations

Employers Agent

Smyth and Associates can assist you to procure your development using a Design and Build (D&B) contract. We can outline the process against traditional procurement techniques then act as the Employer's Agent under the appropriate D&B formal contract. We will prepare the Employer's Requirements and the necessary contract conditions and will perform all the necessary duties to help you as the project is delivered.
